The OODA loop was developed by fighter pilot John Boyd for air combat. It is a decision making process that we unconciously apply everyday. Knowing how to short circuit the loop in your opponent can give you an advantage in an altercation.
This video was produced for LEO training, but  there are good lessons here for us civilians as well.
